    If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Mud Lake. During the days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Keenan Meadows Trail is always a splendid adventure; great hiking is available along the Fishhook  
   Flats Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Mud Lake; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.
If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. A delightful close by hotel is Natchez Hotel, and people from Ellensburg love to come here. Go for a hike on the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail; camping at Mud Lake is glorious fun, Windy Point Campground is a glorious local campground.
 
               Cougar Canyon is a great place to explore nearby, and Naches River is a fine whitewater spot close by.
After a long day outdoors Game Ridge Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; you can run the rapids of Tieton River. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Bend is an out of the ordinary thing to observe if you're here at Mud Lake, and Hanging Tree Campground is a good campground here. This lake is so wonderful.
