Mud Lake is a location that is quite arid typically; the wettest month of the year       is usually December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a pleasant place for that; if you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a good choice. If you want to hit the beach, Johnsons Beach is nearby, and Miller Pond is a splendid lake nearby. Castle Rock is an interesting                  site to explore while at Mud Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Williams Lake Resort. All through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Mud Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's.
