Mud Lake is a lake worth visiting. The amount of rainfall that falls at Mud Lake is close to the national average; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A round of golf at nearby Lake Padden Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and a day on the slopes of Mt.Baker is just what you need. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Why not stop at Dogfish Point also while you're here, and on a delightful day you acquire a good sight of Chuckanut Mountain from Mud
Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Samish Beach in close proximity to Mud Lake is always a good idea; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Whatcom Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Crest Haven Mobile Home and RV, and dry warm beds await you at Motel 6. Mud Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much
to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Samish Terrace is a brilliant location for that; Mud Lake is not far at all from Bellingham.
