Summertime at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site to camp here at Mud Lake is Ruby's On Silver Lake. At Mud Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the wettest month with most snow; the       driest month is August. Mud Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Clear Lake Pines is a fine local campground; if you need a location to stay Willow Springs Motel near EWU is a delightful choice.
