Mud Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff close to Mud Lake. You're probably addicted to lakes, King Lake is one of those close by, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Gee Point Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Medallion       Hotel, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are glorious to check out close by. Why not camp at Lake Connor Park since you're here at Mud Lake; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stillaguamish River - South Fork. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Pilchuck Bridge Campground                  is a pleasant location to camp; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Arlington is a great place to spend a night or two. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range. Bear Creek flows through this neighborhood. For the period of the summer at Mud Lake highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant region for people who like lakes.
