This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. A quick visit to Bear Creek near Mud Lake is a delightful idea, and paddling on Stillaguamish River - South Fork is so much fun. The warmest time of the year at Mud Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures       at Mud Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Mud Lake gets a great deal of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. What a place this is for outdoors people. Don't miss out on a trip to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area since you're here at Mud Lake. Pilchuck Bridge Campground is a magnificent campground nearby; Hawthorn Inn And Suites Arlington Seattle North is a nice place                  to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Jim Creek, and Lake Connor Park is a nice local campground. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range.
