Mud Lake is a nice lake to visit. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Mud Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mud Lake descend into the 30's. Stay the night at Smitty's Trailer Park, and playing golf is lots of fun at Port Ludlow Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Inn at Port Ludlow is a good

| | location to spend a night or two; Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Harbormaster Restaurant is a fine spot to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; Mount Zion Trail is a nice local trail. Much precipitation falls at Mud Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. to do in the Olympic Mountains. If you're stopping by Mud Lake from Bremerton-Silverdale, you won't be the only one; there's fine hiking along the Deadfall Trail. Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. This
is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leland Lake Campground is a splendid site for that, and Big Quilcene River is a brilliant whitewater
spot nearby. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Olympic Mountains.
