All through the summer months highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Lake. Lakes       are magnificent; Nicholas Lake is a lake that's right next door to Mud Lake; why not camp at Canyon Creek Campground since you're here at Mud Lake. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Mud Lake. Looking for a magnificent visit? Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is rather in close proximity to Mud Lake, and you're probably interested in lakes, Lake Ellen is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There                  are brilliant spots to discover along the White Mountain Trail, and the summit of Bald Hill can be seen from Mud Lake. A tremendous site to camp here at Mud Lake is Lake Ellen Campground.
