Woodland Shores RV Park is a nice campground nearby, and a quick journey to Allen Creek is undeniably a tremendous idea. And that's not all you can do here at Mud Lake. Stay the night at Lewis River RV Park, and there's whitewater on Kalama River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Nearby Allen Canyon is a great place to go if you're at Mud Lake, and since you're here, do take a tour to Paradise Point. This lake is so wonderful.       While you're here at Mud Lake, you could also explore pretty Carty Lake; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a splendid choice. Good hiking is available along the Georges Peak Trail; you'll come across a stunning lake called Lancaster Lake. At Mud Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Mud Lake.                  You'll meet a lot of people from Longview-Kelso here, and Lyons Beach is a beach close by that you can visit. Mud Lake is a pretty wet place generally with much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
