Why not camp at Indian Valley Motel and RV Park if you're here at Mud Lake, and lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Blue Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. Looking for a good journey? Olympic National Park is reasonably near Mud Lake; there are perfect sites to discover along the Happy Lake Ridge Trail. Whohoo,       so many exciting things in one place! The Olympic Mountains is excellent! Going for a hike on the Boulder Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure; after a long day outdoors Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is a very popular ski area in close proximity; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Lyre River. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elwha River, and the                  vista of Mount Appleton is pretty. Go for a hike on the Soleduck Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Uptown. High temperatures at Mud Lake all through the summer months are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake sink into the 30's. Mud Lake gets a great deal of water; November is when you get the most rain here while July is ordinarily the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Mud Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a brilliant site to camp.
