Mud Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. And that's not all you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Elwha River offers some splendid whitewater, and nearby you hit upon glorious places like Appleton Pass. Really nice skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and do check out Blue Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. Olympic National Park

| | is a great local destination here at Mud Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Soleduck Trail.
There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a good place for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lyre River. here at Mud Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Mud Lake. Mud Lake is located in the Olympic
