If you are in Clallam county it's always a good idea to stop by Mud Lake. Mud Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Nearby Appleton Pass is a perfect site to go if you're at Mud Lake. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Valley Motel and RV Park is a great site for that. Mud Lake gets a good deal of water; of all the months

The warmest time of the year at Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. of Mud Lake is Mount Appleton; if you need a place to stay Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a pleasant choice.
Do visit Heart Lake right next door to Mud Lake, it's a stunning lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Quality Inn Uptown.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Boulder Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and you can hit the slopes at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge in the vicinity. There's whitewater on Elwha River for all you adrenaline junkies; if you came to camp Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a splendid location to do that.
