     Mowich Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through November; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Mountain Meadows invigorates the soul, and Giant Falls is a stunning location to stop by while you're at Mowich Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Buckley, and you can stay the night at Cougar Rock Campground.
You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day
 
   to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Kings Valu Inn is a good choice, and going for a hike on the Ipsut Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure. At Mowich Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Mowich Lake. If you fancy the outdoors  
               you'll fancy it here in the Northern Cascade Range. All our national parks are perfect places to stop at, and Mount Rainier National Park is no exception.
That right there is heaps of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Mowich Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Ipsut Creek Campground is a great site to camp nearby, of course you could also explore Eunice Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Crystal Mountain while you're here; don't leave Mowich Lake without first going for a hike along the Summit Lake Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Crater Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here, and Arthur Peak is clearly visible from Mowich Lake.
Just can't get enough of Mowich Lake. If you want to stop by some attention-grabbing stuff, stop by Division Rock, and a nice site to visit close by is Ipsut Pass. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Mowich Lake, so little time. You can run the rapids of South Praire Creek close to Mowich Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Paul Peak Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Tom is close to Mowich Lake; get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Clearwater River - White River Tributary.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
