Mound Pond gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Mound Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 90's; the night is rather colder of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the       winter temperatures at Mound Pond descend into the 20's. Mound Pond truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Arrowhead Campground and RV Park is a delightful local campground. Twin Sisters is pretty and can be seen from Mound Pond, and after a long day outdoors Vineyard Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Yellepit Pond close to Mound Pond, it's a delightful lake; if you need a place to stay                  Clover Island Inn is a great choice. Mound Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Green Tree RV and Mobile Home Park is a great spot to camp nearby, and while you're here, you could also stop by pretty Switch Pond.   Vineyard Inn, Pasco 9 miles away Convenient access to the Freeway and Airport.
