Mound Pond is ordinarily a pretty arid place; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Green Tree RV and Mobile Home Park is a pleasant campground nearby; a picturesque lake like Switch Pond is a good place to stop at. While you're here at Mound Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Pendleton-Hermiston, and Spring Gulch is a brilliant place to spend some time. Not       enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Twin Sisters can be made out from Mound Pond. For the duration of the long summer days at Mound Pond temperatures are regularly in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Mound Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Clover Island Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and lakes                  are such serene spots, why not have a look at Yellepit Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
