This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Skookum Creek. Lakes? Sure, Lonesome Pond is close by. For the period of the warm months highs here at Mosquito Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Mosquito Lake tend to be in the 30's. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too fine to be true. At

a brilliant place to camp here at Mosquito Lake is Riverview Park. Camping is available at Sumas RV Park and Campground; not far from Mosquito Lake you'll come across Jorgensen Lake which is a delightful lake. If you come at the right
time of year, Nooksack River - Middle Fork offers some pleasant whitewater, and a trip to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is worthwhile.
