There are some great whitewater spots on Skookum Creek. Lakes? Sure, Lonesome Pond is close by. For the period of the warm months highs here at Mosquito Lake reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Mosquito Lake tend to be in the 30's. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too fine to be true. At       Mosquito Lake you always meet someone from Mount Vernon-Anacortes; after a long day outdoors Glacier Springs Vacation Prop. is a great site to spend a night or two. Mosquito Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
