Do stop by Mosquito Lake while you're in this part of Washington. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Lakes are magnificent; Lonesome Pond is a lake that's close to Mosquito Lake. There's so much to do here at Mosquito Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Riverview Park is a nice spot for that. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Mosquito Lake is not far at all from Mount Vernon-Anacortes; Mosquito Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Sumas RV Park and Campground is a brilliant local campground. lakes, Jorgensen Lake is a lake nearby. The warmest time of the year at Mosquito Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are
commonly in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Mosquito Lake. Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a perfect national park, and since you're here, you could visit Heislers Creek. Whitewater paddling is great on Nooksack River
- Middle Fork, and after a long day outdoors Snowwater Condos is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
