The beauty of Mosquito Lake is reason enough to stop by. There's fine hiking along the Rainbow Lake Trail, and Stehekin River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If the weather is lovely, you obtain a great view of McAlester Mountain from Mosquito Lake; Adventure Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. From a rainfall

| | point of view Mosquito Lake is a reasonably normal place; through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! South Pass is a glorious spot to explore, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Beaner Lake is one of those close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Mosquito Lake. The West Fork Methow Trail | |

offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mosquito Lake has to offer, you can camp at Roads End Campground. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Entiat River; if you've had enough of Mosquito Lake, South Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Purple Point Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Driveway Butte Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Mosquito Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the
30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mosquito Lake plunge into the 20's. Mosquito Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range.
