If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Buckley is a great choice, and right next door to Lake       Morton you come across a golf course called Jade Public Golf Course. Stay the night at Riverbend Mobile and RV Park, and this is a popular place for folks from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rain here at Lake Morton is about average; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not                  go to Straight Ponds close to Lake Morton, and drift down the rapids of Green River in a kayak.
