Just can't get enough of Lake Morton. Nearby lakes? Sure, Grass Lake is close to Lake Morton, and if you need a location to stay Auburn Days Inn is a good choice. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Morton is close to the national average; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Swamps don’t sound that       delightful but Mooney Swamp close to Lake Morton is quite delightful; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley. During the months of summer at Lake Morton highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Lake Morton overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like                  lakes. Straight Ponds is a lake in close proximity, and get wet paddling on Green River. Uncle John's Rv Park is a brilliant local campground, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Jade Public Golf Course. Glide down the rapids of Cedar River in a kayak, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here.
