But wait, there's more to do close to Morrow Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a fine place to spend a night or two, and Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma is a brilliant place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Morrow Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the       40's; nighttime lows at Morrow Lake during the winter usually plunge into the 30's. A wonderful place to camp here at Morrow Lake is Lake Nahwatzel Resort, and why not a little side journey to Phillips Creek. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Paddling on Skokomish River - South Fork is so much fun, of course you could also visit Hillman Fish Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is located in the wonderful                  Olympic Mountains. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Whitewater paddling is fine on Vance Creek, and camping is available at YMCA Camp Bishop. A large amount of rain falls at Morrow Lake; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
