If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lyre River; after a long day outdoors Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a fine location to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. A wonderful location to camp here at Morgenroth Lake is Log Cabin Resort and Trailer,       and dry warm beds await you at Lake Quinault Lodge. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do near Morgenroth Lake. There are magnificent spots to explore along the Hoh River Trail. Morgenroth Lake commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. If you're here at Morgenroth                  Lake, you could go to Rocky Creek; going for a hike on the Soleduck Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Camping at Soleduck Campground is always a tremendous experience; don't leave Morgenroth Lake without first going for a hike along the Deer Lake Trail. Throughout the summer months highs here at Morgenroth Lake get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Morgenroth Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. Olympic National Park is a pleasant location in the neighborhood of Morgenroth Lake, and Elwha River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Morgenroth Lake? Y Lake is around here; Seven Lakes Basin is a lovely location any time of year. During your visit to Morgenroth Lake you'll meet some people from Port Angeles for sure, of course you could also visit No Name Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
