Not much precipitation falls here at Morgan Lake; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summer, highs generally       are in the 80's at Morgan Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Morgan Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Sunvalley Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Peanut Hump is clearly visible from Morgan Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
