Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. After a long day outdoors Aladdin Motor Inns is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and Buckmans Lake is a glorious lake nearby. Morgan Hill Reservoir gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Morgan Hill Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you

| | at Inn at Port Hadlock, and Point Hudson is very near and is a great place to take a look at. There is a fine hiking trail next to Morgan Hill Reservoir called the Mount Zion Trail, and a pretty lake like Tibbals Lake is a fine place to stop by. Reservoir is Sea Breeze Grocery. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Big Quilcene River for all you adrenaline junkies; camping is available at Smitty's Trailer Park. Summer at Morgan Hill Reservoir comes with high
temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and night lows at Morgan Hill Reservoir all through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 30's. Morgan Hill Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains.

Cattail Lake
 | 16 miles away Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911. I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time. It is a small natural lake with no dam. I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds. CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale.... |
