| | There's so much to do here at Morgan Hill Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sea Breeze Grocery is a great site for that. Don't leave Morgan Hill Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mount Zion Trail, and if you've had enough of Morgan Hill Reservoir, Buckmans Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Big Quilcene River, and a great close by hotel is Aladdin Motor Inns. So much enjoyable | |

stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. Inn at Port Hadlock is a great spot to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Deadfall Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Port Townsend Golf Club is a great golf course
nearby, and Morgan Hill Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Smitty's Trailer Park is a pleasant local campground. Morgan Hill Reservoir is pretty dry commonly; December is the wettest month with most rain, and
the driest month is July. Very glorious water scenery is available at Morgan Hill Reservoir Dam in the neighborhood of Morgan Hill Reservoir, and do schedule some time to take a look at Point Hudson if you have a chance. Summertime
highs at Morgan Hill Reservoir typically tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Morgan Hill Reservoir dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Cattail Lake
 | 16 miles away Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911. I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time. It is a small natural lake with no dam. I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds. CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale.... |
