Do stop by Moores Lake while you're in this part of Washington. A magnificent site to camp here at Moores Lake is Travel Inn Resort, and Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Satsop River - East Fork, and Oaksridge Golf Course is a golf course nearby. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma is a good choice, and a quick journey to Cloquallum Creek is beyond doubt a

High temperatures at Moores Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Moores Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Moores Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains.
