This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Satsop River - East Fork; playing golf is lots of fun at Oaksridge Golf Course. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. If you need a location to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Elma is a wonderful choice, and paddling on Satsop       River - Middle Fork is so much fun. The high level of rainfall makes Moores Lake a reasonably wet location; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. Dry warm beds await you at Parkhurst Motel, and Moores Lake is a nice spot to camp, Lake Nahwatzel Resort is a nice spot. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Moores Lake is splendid fun, Elma RV Park is a splendid local campground; a quick spree to Cloquallum                  Creek is positively a splendid idea. And that's not all you can do here at Moores Lake. Vance Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Moores Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
