Monroe Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Camping is available at Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park. A good close by hotel is Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe, and Monroe Reservoir is not the only location close by, Three Lakes is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. High Rock is pretty and can be seen from Monroe Reservoir, and golf can be played at Blue Boy West Golf Course.

If you come at the right time of year, Sultan River offers some fine whitewater, and if you get bored of Monroe Reservoir you could also visit
nearby Wagner Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Pilchuck River, and after a long day outdoors GuestHouse Inn & Suites M is a great spot to spend a night or two.
