If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Mission Lake is not the only spot nearby, Bass Lake is a nearby lake. Mission Lake is pretty waterless usually; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is September. At Mission Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of       the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mission Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Mission Lake is Kettle River. There's so much to do here at Mission Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Evans Campground is a great spot for that. Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a tremendous                  local destination here at Mission Lake; dry warm beds await you at Kettle Falls Best Value Inn. Highland Creek is a good site to pop by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mission Lake has to offer, you can camp at Panorama RV Park and Storage.
