Mission Lake is a nice lake to visit. A good deal of rain falls at Mission Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Mission Lake you'll meet some folks from Bremerton-Silverdale for sure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dosewallips River. Stay the night at Park Place On Hood Canal; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Duckabush River. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Mission Lake. Mission Lake is a perfect place to camp, Norseland Mobile Estates is a perfect place, and after a long day outdoors Bayshore Motel is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Mount Jupiter Trail offers hiking at its best. Tahuya River Dam is not far at all from Mission Lake, and Great Peninsula
is not far at all. High temperatures at Mission Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Mission Lake are in the 30's.
