There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Soleduck River, and Soleduck Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Mink Lake is a place with many visitors from Port Angeles, and nearby you hit upon the Deer Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail. Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the Olympic Mountains. A wonderful close by hotel is Lake Quinault Lodge; Bogachiel Park is a fine place to check out. This lake is so       wonderful. The Mink Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Mink Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Soleduck River - North Fork offers some great whitewater. A good deal of precipitation falls at Mink Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Mink Lake. Mink Lake is not the only site nearby, Hidden Lake is a nearby lake,                  and Mink Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Hoh Campground is a great location to camp nearby. During the warm days of summer highs here at Mink Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Mink Lake are in the 30's. You completely ought to go for the Olympic Mountains. If you need a location to stay Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a fine choice, and a lake nearby is Blackwood Lake. There is a great hiking trail next to Mink Lake called the Lovers Lane, and of course Blackwood Creek is a stunning stream that is worth checking out.
