So many enjoyable things to do in the Wenatchee Mountains, not enough time. Milo Wood Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Meadow Campground is a pleasant local campground, and the Red Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. Milo Wood Pond is not far at all from Wenatchee; hey, Gotta ski right? Mission Ridge is a great place to do that. | | River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. For the period of the summertime months at Milo Wood Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Milo Wood Pond sink into the 10's. There's so much to do here at Milo Wood Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Beehive Spring Campground is a great site for that; you don’t have to go far from Milo Wood Pond to catch a sight of the water at Milo Wood Pond
Dam. Milo Wood Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Econo Lodge Wenatchee;
Steffen Brothers Reservoir is a good lake nearby. This place, the Wenatchee Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A pleasant tour to Pole Flat is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon; if you need a location to stay Cedars Inn is a perfect choice.
