Miller Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a great location to camp nearby; if you get bored of Miller Pond you could also explore close by Slaughter Pen Pond. At Miller Pond you don’t see much rainfall; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Williams Lake Resort is a magnificent local       campground; if you're interested in cool geologic highlights try Castle Rock. A magnificent close by hotel is Willow Springs Motel near EWU, and Castle Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. If you want to hit the beach, Johnsons Beach is in close proximity, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a magnificent site to get some rest. For the period of the summer months at Miller Pond highs are regularly in the 80's,                  and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Miller Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
