A visit to Mill Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mill Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bremerton-Silverdale; a great location for whitewater paddling is Duckabush River. Some of the water nearby flows, like Sherwood Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Snooze Junction RV Park. This lake is so wonderful.

Mill Pond gets much water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Lake Anderson Dam is gorgeous and it's close to Mill Pond, and Dosewallips River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
