Many people like to go to Mill Pond. Going for a hike on the County Line Trail is always a nice adventure; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Yakima River. Camping is available at Baker Creek Campground, and nearby you hit upon brilliant spots like Hidden Valley. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Mandarin Oriental Washington; there's whitewater on Teanaway River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.

The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Mill Pond during the winter mostly sink into the 20's. Some close by water includes First Creek, and the Teanaway Wilson Stock Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
Camping at Mineral Springs Resort is always a pleasant experience, and I 90 Inn Motel is a glorious site to get some rest.
