Milk Pond is a lake worth visiting. Milk Pond is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Milk Pond reach the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Milk Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. There are some glorious whitewater spots on American River; at Milk Pond you always meet

| | someone from Ellensburg. This lake is so wonderful. Milk Pond is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Halfway Flat Campground II is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Milk Pond; Kaner Flat Trail is a tremendous local trail. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Stewart Lodge is a splendid place | |

to spend a night or two, and there are other locations here than Milk Pond, for example Taneum Lake. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Milk Pond. Some close by water includes Pine Creek; why not
take a refreshing hike along the Quartz Creek Trail. Stay the night at Halfway Flat Campground I, and a perfect close by hotel is Suncadia Resort. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun things to do in the Northern Cascade
Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Naches River; Milk Pond is right by the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail. Milk Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; the
month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Milk Pond Dam has great water scenery and it's close to Milk Pond.
