What a nice lake Milk Lake is. Going for a hike along the Royal Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Milk Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lena Creek Campground is a great local campground. Milk Lake is a location that is rather dried up commonly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Milk Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains.

If the weather is great here at Milk Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail, and Creekside Inn is a good spot to get some rest. On a pleasant day at Milk Lake you can take a hike along the Baldy Trail, and the good people of Shelton like to hang out nearby. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Milk Lake will keep you coming back over and over. There are some great
whitewater spots on Hamma Hamma River. There's so much to do here at Milk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lena Lake Campground is a good site for that. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A great view
of pretty Mount Bretherton is available from Milk Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Jefferson Creek.
High temperatures at Milk Lake through the summer are in the 60's while
overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Milk Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
