Camping is available at Lena Creek Campground. Lakes are fine; Goober Pond is a lake that's near Milk Lake. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Milk Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Milk Lake. Milk Lake is a location that is rather dried out regularly; through       December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Milk Lake is Lena Lake Campground, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Jefferson Creek. On a lovely day you acquire a view of Mount Bretherton from Milk Lake, and Milk Lake is right by the Royal Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Milk Lake. While you're here at Milk Lake you will                  meet lots of folks from nearby Shelton; going for a hike along the Baldy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Shelton; after a long day outdoors Alderbrook Resort and Spa is a great location to spend a night or two. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Scout Lake is a lake nearby, and why not take a look at close by Maple Creek since you're here at Milk Lake. Milk Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains.
