A lake nearby is First Hidden Lake; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Boundary Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Middle Hidden Lake; during December this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. A great place to camp       here at Middle Hidden Lake is Rivers Bend Campground; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Monument Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Lost River, and going for a hike on the Driveway Butte Trail is always a splendid adventure. For the period of the summer months at Middle Hidden Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into                  the 50's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Middle Hidden Lake tend to be in the 10's. That right there is lots of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Middle Hidden Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ballard Campground is a good local campground. Hidden Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore, and after a long day outdoors Sun Mountain Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two.
