Merry Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while July is frequently the driest month. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Merry Dam near Merry Lake, and paddling on Sand Hollow Creek       is so much fun. If you need a place to stay Cave B Inn at SageCliffe is a great choice, and a great sight of pretty Sentinel Mountain is available. Through the summertime months at Merry Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Merry Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Any time is a good time at Merry Lake if you fancy the                  outdoors. A tremendous nearby hotel is Best Western Grapevine Inn. This lake is so wonderful.
