High temperatures at Melbourne Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Melbourne Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. Melbourne Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Rest-a-while is a great       place to camp nearby, and do go to East Fork Lilliwaup Creek since you're here at Melbourne Lake. While you're here at Melbourne Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Hamma Hamma River. Super 8 Shelton is a great site to get some rest, and while you're here, you could also go to lovely Osborn Lakes. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. Why not spend some time golfing at                  a close by golf course like Lake Cushman Golf Course, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Shelton here. This lake is so wonderful. Lilliwaup Falls is always fun to check out; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Royal Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jefferson Creek; you should have a look at Lilliwaup Bay when you're here. Melbourne Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here while July is generally the driest month. Yeah, come here to Melbourne Lake for a brilliant time. Melbourne Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here; Tenas Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. So many entertaining things to do here at Melbourne Lake, too splendid to be true.
