McLeod Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to look at along the Mount Defiance Trail, and Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything McLeod Lake has to offer, you can camp at Leisure Time Resorts-america; why not take a little trip       to Hancock Creek if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Cascade Golf Course not far from McLeod Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snoqualmie River - North Fork. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to McLeod Lake has to offer. A great nearby hotel is Salish Lodge And Spa, and you get a fine panorama of Fuller Mountain from here.                  Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Pratt Lake Trail; there are other places here than McLeod Lake, for example Klaus Lake. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave McLeod Lake without first going for a hike along the Christoff Trail; after a long day outdoors Summit Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the long summer days highs here at McLeod Lake get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at McLeod Lake descend into the 30's. McLeod Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Alpental.
