A fine spot to camp here at McKie Pond is Columbia Cove RV Park, and a fine close by hotel is Rodeway Inn & Suites. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. What would winter be without some skiing at Loup Loup       Ski Bowl; an afternoon playing golf at Lake Woods Golf Course is always a pleasure. For the period of the summertime here at McKie Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows at McKie Pond through the wintertime commonly fall into the 10's. This is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes. Rat Lake is a lake around here; since you might be                  in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Alexander Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at McKie Pond you can take a hike along the Granite Trail, and you can run the rapids of Methow River. McKie Pond gets very little precipitation; through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture.
