McClain Lake is a location that is relatively dry mostly; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. Why not camp at Bridgeport Marina RV Park if you're here at McClain Lake, and enjoy a round of golf at Lake Woods Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Chelan River is a wonderful whitewater spot in the vicinity of McClain Lake, and there       are other places here than McClain Lake, for example Alexander Lake. At McClain Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at McClain Lake fall into the 10's. Not far from McClain Lake, you'll find Dezellem Lake which is a charming lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Loup Loup Ski Bowl is relatively near.                  A great site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of McClain Lake is Methow River, and if you came for an overnight stay Marina RV Park is a good place to camp.
