You completely should have a thing about Mazama Lake. A good view of charming Barometer Mountain is available from Mazama Lake, and Ruth Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close by. | | wonderful. Camping is available at Depression Lake Campground, and a gorgeous lake like Hayes Lake is a great place to visit. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mazama Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Mazama Lake. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest. A splendid place to camp here at Mazama Lake is Shuksan Campground, and lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Galena Chain Lakes.
Interesting geology is available here; Coleman Pinnacle is near Mazama Lake, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Nooksack River - North Fork.
