Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter       lows in the 10's overnight here at May Lake. If time allows, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting; you obtain a great vista of Colville Mountain from here. May Lake is pretty dried up generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and September is the month with the least moisture. The slopes of 49 Degrees North are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful.
