The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mathews Lake with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mathews Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this       spot. Mathews Lake is generally a pretty dry spot; December is the month that gets the most snow while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are wonderful; Benjamin Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mathews Lake, and the summit of Sherwood Mountain can be observed from Mathews Lake. You're most likely hooked on lakes, Little Falls Reservoir is one of those close by, and Little Falls Dam is                  a scenic place, absolutely worth checking out.
