Martin Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling right next door to Martin Lake is Hood River - West Fork, and going for a hike on the Brush Creek Trail is always a delightful adventure. At Martin Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through                  the wintertime are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Martin Lake.
