In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Martin Lake is one of them. Very pretty scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Cooper Spur, and you are close to Collins Point while you're here. There's whitewater on Hood River - West Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers; skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows is one of those things you just must do. During the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Martin Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down

| | to the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Martin Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Having a perfect time at Martin Lake is simple. A great place to camp here at Martin Lake is Wind Mountain Resort, and an interesting thing to explore next to Martin Lake is Berge Reservoir Dam. of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. You'll stumble on a stunning lake called New Lake near
Martin Lake; you're sure to come across some cheerful people from Hood River here. While you're here at Martin Lake you can take a hike along the Wyeth Trail, and you acquire a splendid sight of Shellrock Mountain from here. This
lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. So much fun stuff next to Martin Lake, definitely tremendous. If the weather is fine here at Martin Lake, you can go for a hike along the Brush Creek Trail; Best Western
Columbia River Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23, and Martin Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Timberlake
Campground is a pleasant local campground. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Skamania Lodge; why not a little side trip to Lindsey Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
While you're here at Martin Lake, you could also go to picturesque Rainy Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little White Salmon River.
