     This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Bluebell Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and camping at Cascade Islands Campground II is always a wonderful experience. You could also explore Upper Falls Lake if you're here at Marten Lake; it's nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Camp Creek Ridge Trail. Marten Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and  
   the driest month is July.
There's whitewater on Cascade River for all you adrenaline kick people, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sky Valley Inn. At Marten Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Marten Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. The Northern Cascade
 
               Range scenery is always beautiful.
You clearly have to go for Marten Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Illabot Creek, and Marten Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cascade Island Campground I is a glorious local campground. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Hidden Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Falls Lake is near Marten Lake, and there are nice places to discover along the Meadow Mountain Trail.
