What a nice lake Marmot Lake is. The Little River Trail offers hiking at its best, and Lookout Rock is clearly visible from Marmot Lake. All year is a delightful time in the Olympic Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Camping at Marmot Lake is great fun, Heart of the Hills Campground is a great local campground, and Gray Wolf River is a good whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Maiden Creek since you're here at Marmot Lake.

| | the summertime months here at Marmot Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Marmot Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. December is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest.

Home is a pleasant place; you can run the rapids of Elwha River. Marmot Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. So many exciting things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too brilliant to be true. There's tremendous hiking along
the Lake Creek Trail, and Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge has great slopes and a friendly staff.
This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Olympic Lodge is a pleasant spot to get some rest; a tour to Olympic National Park is recommended.
