This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Fourth Of July Basin rejuvenates the spirit, and you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 26. This lake is so wonderful. Hilgard Pass is a great spot to spend some time at; going for a hike on the Rainbow Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure.       Throughout the summer months at Marie Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Marie Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Get wet paddling on Entiat River; getting to West Fork Devore Creek from Marie Lake is painless. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade                  Range. If you need a place to stay Adventure Inn is a fine choice, and a delightful site to camp here at Marie Lake is Holden Campground. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Marie Lake is a quite wet place frequently with much rain; November is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Marie Lake. Camping is available at Company Creek Campground, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Battalion Lake is just a very short distance away. All year is a nice time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors.
