The warmest time of the year at Lake Margaret comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Margaret. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Icicle Trail.       Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Icicle Inn; do take a hike on the Davis Peak Lookout Trail. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's some flowing water nearby, Spanish Camp Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here. There's so much to do here at Lake Margaret that you need to camp here for a while, French Creek Campground is a good site for that. This lake is one                  of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. And if that's not enough there's loads more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Paddling on Icicle Creek is so much fun; the summit of Snowgrass Mountain can be seen from Lake Margaret. Nason River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and naturally, A spree to Frosty Pass is always fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Margaret a wet site; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Lake Margaret in fact is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. You could also visit Lower Florence Lake since you're here at Lake Margaret; it's nearby; if you came to camp Black Pine Campground is a great location to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
