    A visit to Margaret Lake is always a good idea. Margaret Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Box Canyon Lake near Margaret Lake, it's a lovely lake; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Box Canyon Creek. The skiing at Snoqualmie is tremendous, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling  
   is Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork.
Margaret Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless! Best Western Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and the summit of Mount Margaret can be seen from Margaret Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Margaret Lake is delightful enough to spend
 
               more than a day at, Commonwealth Campground is a delightful local campground; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Middle Fork Trail.
High temperatures at Margaret Lake through the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's; night lows at Margaret Lake through the wintertime generally dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Margaret Lake, you can go for a hike along the Cooper Pass Trail. Alpental is a nice local ski area; since you're here you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25.
Just can't get enough of Margaret Lake. There's so much to do here at Margaret Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crystal Springs Campground is a pleasant location for that, and dry warm beds await you at Cascadia Inn.
