Good hiking is available along the Middle Fork Trail. At Lake Malachite through the summertime highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Malachite during the winter frequently drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Escondido Trail, and the Cooper Pass Trail offers hiking at its

| | best. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Malachite, you'll stumble on Purvis Lake which is a lovely lake, and Stephens Pass is a very popular ski area close at hand. Paddling on Miller River - East Fork is so much fun, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit. What a site this is for outdoors people. two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Having a tremendous time in the Northern Cascade Range is painless. Malachite Falls is a good local attraction; why not camp at Foss River Campground
since you're here at Lake Malachite. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lake Malachite; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing
things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Lakes are wonderful; Copper Lake is a lake that's near Lake Malachite, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpental. West Fork Campground is a good local campground, and Malachite Peak is uncomplicated to spot from Lake Malachite.
