If you are in Mason county it's always a good idea to stop by Lystair Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. So many exciting things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too nice to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Alderbrook Resort And Spa, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Shelton here.

| | driest. Lake Arrowhead is a nearby lake that you could go to; paddling on Vance Creek is so much fun. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Everybody loves Buck Prairie, and you can catch a glimpse of Snag Hill from Lystair Lake.

Shelton is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lystair Lake has to offer, you can camp at Panhandle Lake 4-h Camp, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Satsop
River - East Fork. Throughout the warm months highs here at Lystair Lake get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Lystair Lake tend to be in the 30's.
