In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spokane River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Decie Lake. Lynda Lake is close to Lynda Lake Dam which is a beautiful spot absolutely worth visiting; Mount Pisgah is clearly visible from Lynda Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A delightful site to camp here at Lynda Lake is Audrey's RV Park, and you'll never forgive

| | yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Spokane while you're here. Throughout the summer months at Lynda Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Lynda Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
Lynda Lake is a good site of common rain; all through December this area sees the most snow; July is when it's the driest. | |

Lakes are delightful; Isabelle Lake is a lake that's close to Lynda Lake, and La Quinta Inn And Suites Spokane is a nice place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Peppertree Liberty Lake Inn; camping is available at Old American Kampground.

Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful.... |
