If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lyle Lake. Ipsut Creek Campground is a good local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Carbon Trail. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and there's good hiking along the Clearwater Trail. Lyle Lake gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most; July

| | is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Kings Valu Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest, and Cedar Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Lyle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. in the 40's, and night lows at Lyle Lake during the wintertime frequently fall into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Test Creek is a nice local stream, and Green River Gorge Resort is a
great campground nearby. Do have a look at Lily Lake in close proximity to Lyle Lake, it's a charming lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - White River Tributary. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget
to have a look at Celery Meadow since you're here at Lyle Lake; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some great whitewater, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lyle Lake; Summit Lake Trail is a great local trail.
