Snowy Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out; there are great spots to look at along the Rainbow Lake Trail. Lower Snowy Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Sun Mountain Lodge is a pleasant choice, and Chancellor Campground       is a great local campground. Going for a hike on the West Fork Methow Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and why not camp at Meadows Campground while you're here at Lower Snowy Lake. This spot, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Glide down the rapids of Stehekin River in a kayak, and you obtain a wonderful view of Golden Horn from here. And that's not all you can do here at Lower Snowy Lake. Paddling on Granite Creek                  is so much fun, and don't leave Lower Snowy Lake without first going for a hike along the Mill Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake nearby is Upper Snowy Lake, and Methow Pass is a delightful spot to have a look at. Summertime highs at Lower Snowy Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's.
