During your spree to Lower Pine Lake you'll meet some people from Spokane for sure; if you've had enough of Lower Pine Lake, Chapman Lake is close by. Lower Pine Lake is pretty dry generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is July. Getting to Pine Creek Drain from Lower Pine Lake is painless. Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a wonderful local campground, and get       drenched paddling on Hangman Creek. Float down the rapids of Spokane River in a kayak, and Lower Pine Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Pine Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Yogi Bears Camp Resort is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a great location to spend a night or two. Lower Pine Lake is not the only place nearby, Thirty Acre Lake is a nearby lake, and Willow Springs Motel near EWU is a magnificent place to get some rest. Throughout the summertime highs here at Lower Pine Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
